Meet Ms. Carmen

Lucketts Montessori Daycare is a licensed daycare that is run by Carmen Dorr. Carmen has an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) degree in Montessori preschool teaching and many years of experience in the field.

 

Carmen opened her daycare 11 years ago in 2008. The success of her daycare lies in Carmen's teaching, patience, and caring expertise. "Ms. Carmen," as she is known, is also tri-lingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and German. She is also certified in CPR and first aid. 

"Safe, warm, educational, and child centered are truly the best words to describe Lucketts Montessori Daycare. Ms. Carmen is inclusive of all children meeting their physical, emotional, and learning needs at their current stage of development while gently guiding their progress using the Montessori approach. As a mother of four, I am lucky to have found Ms. Carmen in time for my younger boys to benefit from her care. She communicates openly with parents to ensure consistency in supporting the child’s ongoing natural development both at home and at daycare. My boys continue to talk about Ms. Carmen and love to visit her given the special relationship and positive impact she has had on them."

Lucketts Montessori Daycare is licensed, and has all the papers that Loudoun County requires. Hours are from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
